Local man exiled for not putting French flag over his Facebook profile picture

Local man Danny Rea has been hounded out of town after eagled-eyed busy bodies noticed that he hadn’t yet put a French flag over his Facebook profile picture.

Danny was spotted running for his life this morning as an angry horde of townsfolk chased him out of town.

‘He’s a sick individual,’ proclaimed Kelly Stevens. ‘We’re all mourning in unison about that thing that happened in France where all the Muslims attacked everyone and he can’t even be bothered to click a single button to put a French flag over his Facebook profile picture. Disgusting.’

We managed to catch up with Danny as he walked to the next town, hoping to leave his reputation behind him. ‘I DID replace my profile picture but it was a picture of me in front of the Eiffel Tower from when I went to Paris a couple of years ago. I thought that was a much more personal tribute.’

Town mayor Richard Mates has officially exiled Danny from the town saying, ‘While I do feel sympathy for Danny and hope he finds a new home, we don’t have room for his kind here.’
