Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have agreed to fight to help raise the profile of their travelling talk show.
While the pair are happy with how their public debates have gone so far, they feel a boxing match would garner them even more eyeballs for the next time they decide to have a chat.
Mayweather, a boxer, and McGregor, an MMA fighter, will face off in a boxing match that could raise the stakes even higher when they next meet to talk shit about each other.
‘It’s all about getting more eyeballs on us for the next debate. The fight is just a business tool,’ said Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
‘The Frost-Nixon interview would have had a lot higher viewing figures if they’d had a boxing match first,’ said McGregor.
But fans of the pair have expressed their disappointment over the decision to stage a fight with many feeling that a physical confrontation would cheapen the trash talk.
