Sea life “covid free” thanks to billions of masks dumped in the ocean

Covid has had no impact on sea life, thanks to the billions of masks dumped in the ocean, according to marine biologists.

Millions of sea creatures have been smart enough to “mask up” which has stopped the spread of Covid in its tracks within the ocean.

“We were worried that all the used masks being dumped into the ocean would be an ecological disaster but it’s actually helped sea life a great deal. They’ve all taken to the masks like a fish to water.

“Scuba divers tell us that they never see a fish without a mask and they all wear them correctly. We’ve tested sea life and we’ve not found a single case of Covid yet,” said leading marine biologist Dr Annie Mone.

Dr Mone believes there is a message in this for humanity.

“I think it’s that dumping our shit in the ocean is good, but I still need to do more research on the matter,” she told us.
