A woman has started dressing her dog in clothes in what appears to be a blatant cry for help.

Laura Barker, 32, recently purchased a selection of different clothing to dress her dog in and has already posted several photos of the resulting spectacles on social media.

‘I just think my little Lulu looks so cute as a princess or an angel,’ she told us.

But Laura’s friends are convinced that this is all a desperate cry for help.

‘The only time it’s acceptable to put clothes on a dog is a waterproof coat when you’re walking them outside. This is a woman who’s been single for too long and subconsciously wants a baby,’ said one friend.

Laura’s friends now plan an intervention to save the dog from her terrible fate and to get Laura back on the right track.

‘If she wants a baby, she can have one of mine. I have three and I now accept that that’s too many,’ said one visibly tired friend.
