Busted under fire for travelling to the Year 3000 and not warning the world about coronavirus

Pop band Busted are facing heavy criticism for time travelling to the Year 3000 and then coming back to the present day without warning the world about the coronavirus.

The members of Busted hitched a ride to the future with a boy named Peter who had built a time machine.

This voyage in time gave Busted the perfect opportunity to learn of disasters and how they could be prevented, but it turns out they spent most of the trip ogling each other’s great-great-great granddaughters.

‘In our defence, they were all pretty fine,’ claims Charlie Simpsons.

While the experience gave them the basis for a fine pop song, many people have noted that Busted provided no warning about the coronavirus or any other disasters that humanity could prevent.

‘Busted could have told us to close the borders earlier to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, yet it wasn’t even mentioned in the song. The best warning we get about anything is that we’ll all be living underwater but there’s no information on why. This was sloppy songwriting and even sloppier science,’ said a furious Dr Brian Cox.

Busted could now be charged with crimes against humanity, something that should have arguably happened after they dropped their first album.
