England to rename currency after Raheem Sterling for his services to football

England has announced that it will rename its currency after Raheem Sterling for his services to football coming home.

Sterling has been a revelation during the Euro 2020 tournament, scoring three goals and being involved in several key plays, including winning a penalty against Denmark.

It would be fair to call Raheem England’s player of the tournament and the nation will reward him by renaming their currency after him.

‘No longer will England use the pound sterling, it will now be known as the pound raheem – after Raheem Sterling,’ said a spokesperson for the Bank of England.

The pound raheem will be worth as much as the pound sterling but it will sting the fingers of racist morons.

It’s expected that roughly 100% of all Sun readers will be affected.
