DC Comics has revealed that the next iteration of Batman will be heterosexual to provide some balance to the newly bisexual Superman.
Superman and Batman are undoubtedly DC Comics two biggest superheroes and bosses decided that having a bisexual Superman alongside a gay Batman would be too much.
“The new version of Batman won’t be gay, he’ll be straight. We want to represent everyone in our universe and we think the world is ready for a straight Batman.
“Batman won’t wear leather or be as well dressed anymore. He also won’t have an array of toys at his disposal or a lithe male friend.
“It’s going to be a complete re-imagining of the Dark Knight,” explained one DC Comics boss.
The straight community has greeted the news of a heterosexual Batman with a positive attitude.
“It’s going to be great to have straight, white males represented for a change,” said Guy Pounder, a verified heterosexual.
