Government tricks Sylvester Stallone into becoming an HGV driver by telling him it’s “Over the Top 2”

The British government has successfully convinced Sylvester Stallone to become an HGV driver by telling him they’re filming “Over the Top 2”.

With Britain suffering from a lack of HGV drivers trucking goods and fuel over the country, the government has had to resort to desperate measures.

The first measure appears to be tricking Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone into believing he’s filming the sequel to “Over the Top”, in which he played a trucker/arm wrestler.

To pull off the con, Stallone’s HGV has been fitted with a camera in the corner and he’s been told he’s free to ad-lib lines as he sees fit.

“It’s a new direction for the franchise, y’know. ‘Over the Top 2’ is going to be much more grounded in the realities of the trucker lifestyle. It’s going to be low budget but this is a fantastic opportunity for me to challenge myself as an actor,” Stallone told us.

The government claims that it wasn’t difficult to deceive Stallone as “he’s not that smart”, which is a damning indictment coming from the British government.
