“I’m in a bad state right now,” says woman living in the state of Texas

A woman has revealed that she’s in a bad state right now; not of mind, just that she’s living in the state of Texas.

“It’s both, to be honest,” said Lauren Hills, who somehow managed to respond to our opening paragraph before it was published.

Hills, like any sane person, always knew that Texas was a terrible state but the recent law change that prohibits abortion after six weeks of pregnancy was the final straw.

“Texas is a hot, dusty hellhole,” Lauren told us. “The taxes here are ridiculous and most of the men are living out strange fantasies of being cowboys.

“Then there’s the bad driving and religious zealots. Racism and sexism are still incredibly prevalent here. Education is lacking, to say the least. Oh, and don’t forget about Ted Cruz.”

A spokesperson for Texas has responded: “I don’t see the problem. The young lady just named most of our best features!”
