Ginger found ‘dried up like a slug covered in salt’ in record heatwave

A ginger has been found dead after foolishly attempting to sunbathe in a record heatwave, it’s emerged.

Kelly Hucknall, 26, was found badly burned and already dead by a passer-by. Police say that no foul play is suspected.

‘She was found on a lounger, completely dried up like a slug that’s been covered in salt,’ the detective on the scene told us.

Doctors are now warning people of a red-headed persuasion to avoid the outdoors at all costs until the heat dies down.

‘And even when it’s cool, we recommend gingers stay inside. That’s more for everyone else’s sake though,’ said Dr Brunes.

Kelly is survived by her two cats, both of whom detested her.
