Matt Hancock has confessed that he once tried to snort Coke in a pub toilet but was foiled when all they had was Pepsi.
The disgraced former Health Secretary made the revelation just hours after Prime Minister Boris Johnson declared an “all-out war on drugs”.
Hancock said that he backed the move. “The prime minister has my total support on this. I tried drugs once when I was at a low ebb.
“I was in a pub with a few colleagues who were all talking about how amazing Coke was, so I thought that I’d give it a try.
“However, the barman told me they only had Pepsi. I tried snorting it anyway but it was too fizzy for my liking. The caffeine did give me a tremendous amount of energy though. Just ask my aide!”
Hancock claims that his Pepsi usage was a one-time thing and that he is free to talk about it because police don’t investigate crimes that have taken place in the past.
