Street traffic trebles on day man is waiting for package

Street traffic has inexplicably trebled on the day a local man is waiting in his house for a package.

Adam Ware, 32, is expecting the delivery of a new TV today. He planned to spend the day getting work done while waiting for a knock on the door.

However, due to his anxious nature and the fact that street traffic has roughly trebled for the day – all Adam can do is rush to the window every time he hears a vehicle go past.

“I’ve been given a very precise delivery window between 7 am and 9 pm, so the package could arrive any time now.

“I swear, I’ve never known the street to be this busy with traffic. Someone seems to be driving by every other minute. It’s usually quiet,” he told us. Then a car drove by and Adam rushed to the window like a dog waiting for its master to come home.

Experts say that this is just one of many components of Sod’s Law – as is the fact the delivery will arrive at 8:59 pm.
