Facebook outage caused by Mark Zuckerberg unplugging servers so he could plug in his hair clippers

Yesterday’s Facebook outage was caused by Mark Zuckerberg unplugging the servers so that he could plug in his hair clippers and give himself a haircut, it’s emerged.

With Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp all down for several hours, many people wondered what must have been going on at Facebook HQ.

Some claimed that Facebook was down to halt the spread of information from the Pandora Papers and the Facebook whistle-blower but the truth seems to be far more benign.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has admitted that HE caused the outage when he unplugged some of the Facebook servers so that he could give himself a haircut.

“There were no sockets available, so I had to unplug one of the main servers. I think it was worth it though, look at this neat haircut I gave myself,” said the billionaire, sporting his signature look.

Zuckerberg’s haircut presumably only took ten minutes, which does leave the other five hours and fifty minutes of the outage unexplained.
